Its been so many years since we started off this forum room, tines when facebook was unheard off. Forum rooms like mbc was considered the best source for bike related info in Malaysia in the early 2000s. At one time membership at MBC had even clocked over 50,000 members but somehow along the line as internet progresses with introduction of smart phones and various apps and social media, forum rooms went on a decline untill finally disappeared altogether.

MBC has now returned,  this time it will come with a bigger bang, and stay on the net for a much longer time.

Most people nowadays prefer faster information change, and in my opinion has become the reason why most would opt for social media and mobile messaging apps instead of forums

It is true. But I see it the forum is still a good reliable source. Maybe we can ( or I, is better ) try to distinguish between social platform and forum. There is a differences in comparison. The purpose is also different. Hope we can get more and broader viewers and contributors by using this forum. As AA mention , " the young boys are now older but WISER ".

Yes totally agree with Rihuhs opinion, most people wants fast information, its just like take and leave lifestyle. Its all virtually in the net. Countless sources of information, that you just click, retrieve and leave. That being said,  we have lost our human touch and feelings, but with MBC the bond was somewhat special, and we made arrangements for meet ups like the weekly FNF and rides all over. MBC had tought us so many good things in the past, especially about in bikers brotherhood, where small bikes and big bikes join arms together and everyone had a good time. Precise to its motto, We are not just bikers, We are brothers.

Nowadays, we have many social platform. Each of these is having a different purpose. What I am not getting from the other type of media is the bonding that works magically through forum. MBC has created a such a "spark" that helps create and strengthen a bonding amongst the forumers. Those whatssap sometimes may become a distraction to others. It is how we manage the way of communication to avoid the breakdown.
Maybe I should empower myself with managing a social perception.

huh older?  About 8 -9 years older from our previous GOLDEN TIME of MBC.
Maybe it is gentle re,imder for us to be prepared for our older time.

nowadays, i have to accept the fact that maybe MBC is not the prime option for those who seek information about bikes and riding. people prefer more on another platform of social media like FB, insta. but I still prefer MBC , which comes in the forum. more easier to find the information sorted by the topic. Yeah. some more it has some kind of 'magic' that always pulling me in.
